Nobuta wo Produce

It is one of my favorite Japanese Drama. The reason for me to start watching a series is that there should be some actors and actresses that I like or I have been told a lot about it that it is quite good. When I started watching this drama I had no idea what it was about, but when I saw Kazuya Kamenashi, who performed in the series Gokusen II, which I watched a week before, I think I should watch it. After the two series, he also became one of my favorite Japanese Actors.

In this drama he plays Shuji Kiritani , the most popular guys in the school who always pretends to care for all of his classmates, but deep down, he is very quite and doesn't opened to others. He found that one of his classmate Akira Kusano (Tomohisa Yamashita) is so annoying, but the true is that only Akira is able to see his true self. One day, a new girl from another school comes to Shuji's classroom. Her name is Nobuko Kotani (Maki Horikita). Nobuko=Nobuta= pig. From her gloomy looks, she begins to get harassedby the class bullies in no time. The harassment was devastating. Her lunch gets ruined, she gets a vase of flowers on her deskmeaning she had died, and she even gets water splashedwhile she is in the toilet booth. After knowing that the bullying is by Bando (FumikoMizuta),Shuji and Akira advise Nobuko to try to harmonize with others. But Nobuko tells them that she has tried to do so in the past, but every time it turns outmiserable. Shuji tells Nobuko to have a more positive attitude, and he protects Nobuko from the harassment. However, hefeels that the bullying won't stop that easily.Hearing about this, Akira comes up with the idea to makeover Nobuko from her looks toher personality, so that she'd become one of themost popular girls in their school. That way,there's no way the bullies can harass her. And so Shuji and Akira's greatmake-over begins...A Cinderella story which portrays the social life of Japanese teenagers. Can this gloomy girl really become popular in her school? ( source is from Jdorama)

Once in my life, I wished to be a producer or a manager of a famous people. The idea of making a normal people become famous was really get me excited. If I had a role in Cinderella story, I don't want to be her, I would like to be the God Fairly Mother who can turn an ugly poor girl in to a beautiful princess. However, I am not working in the Industry of Entertainment and I do not intend to enter it, so the dream of producing a star will never come true in my life.

I also found the OST of this drama is so good that I have listen to it over and over.
